The Guns N Roses Experience play Concorde 2 on Friday 18 September at 7pm, their fourth show there. Tickets £20.13, 14+. The band told us what they will play.

The Guns N Roses Experience bring their show to Concorde 2 this Friday, 18 September, starting at 7pm, with tickets at £20.13. It will be the band’s fourth time at the Brighton venue, again with the promoter Black Rabbit Productions.

The five-piece play the songs of the Appetite for Destruction and Use Your Illusion years. The line-up is Sidd De Ville, Jack Warren, Gerard Elliott, Simon Chisholm and Martyn Goddard. Sidd De Ville takes Axl Rose’s role and Jack Warren plays Slash.

We sent the band some questions after their announcement arrived. Garry Warren, who handles their press, answered them.

Who they are

The band has been in its current line-up since 2020. Asked how the five came together, Garry Warren wrote: “The members of the band were brought together by their love of Guns n Roses but also by their excellent musicianship.”

What they will play

The band says Friday’s set covers the big songs: Sweet Child O’ Mine, November Rain, Live and Let Die and Paradise City. It also reaches past the singles to what they call “lesser known hits”, naming Pretty Tied Up and Mama Kin.

On recreating the era, Garry Warren wrote: “The band do their best to recreate the costumes and look of Guns and Roses and by using the same gear as the original band, create a sound as close to the original artists as is possible.”

Why come on Friday

We asked for a few words from one of the band. Sidd De Ville, who sings Axl’s parts, sent this:

“Wanna experience the burning sensation of Hollywood in the 80’s? Wanna hear the ripping sounds of Guns n Roses? Come and check us out and be part of a mind blowing rock and roll ambush! All the big hits and the look and feels of Sunset Strip!”
